I don’t know about you, but navigating the hustle and bustle of a big city, along with so many things to see and do gets me HUNGRY. The issue is, so many restaurants and food spots but so little time! So, that’s why I am here to be your tour guide to all things food in London. Whether you prefer little bites or something to fill you up, I’ve got your back!

From being a content creator and foodie myself, I've experienced my fair share of London's restaurant scene from the absolutely fantastic to the frighteningly awful. Fortunately, these experiences have led me to have a fabulous taste in restaurants (if I do say so myself), and I'm going to share some of my personal favourites with you.

Let’s begin at restaurants for people who love a bit of comfort food! For me, one of my personal favourites for comfort food is The Milk Tree. This small, independent restaurant located in Canning town has a cosy environment and lots in store! If you're looking to experience a slap up full English breakfast, a relaxed brunch, or a grab-and-go pastry - this is your place! I've been here with friends and alone because it is just that good! I would highly suggest their breakfast, especially the French toast (if that’s what you fancy!). It’s fairly priced and I suggest trying one of their smoothies which are especially refreshing during the summer heat. Another spot that serves great comfort food is Stakehaus (located in Seven Dials Market and Camden). This is for the meat-lovers looking for a hearty dish of steak and chips!

If you're looking for vegan and vegetarian restaurants in London, or you are looking for a healthy and nutritious meal then Bibi’s is the way to go! This restaurant has six locations (my go-to being the Soho branch), and has a range fresh salads, pastries and sandwiches. This is more of a lunchtime place. For dinners, I would suggest Neat which is located in Soho and uses 100% plant based ingredients in its cooking. They serve burgers, salads and "good mood food". The atmosphere is super welcoming and it's fairly priced too.

Now… for those of you looking for something more adventurous and new to try, oh boy do I have some exciting restaurants in store for you! One of my absolute favourites is Americana, an American southern soul-food restaurant in the heart of Piccadilly - complete with a hidden bar. My favourite bite is the moonshine chicken in Tennessee whiskey sauce- this sauce is the most INCREDIBLE sauce I have ever tasted! They have entertainment in the evenings ranging from live magic shows, to live jazz and more (you should go and see for yourself). A second I would suggest is Swiss Butter in Holborn, known for the most delicious and hearty meals! Every meat they cook is drowned in a delicacy known as Swiss butter (hence the name)- the ingredients are a secret but it is one of the best sauces you will taste and each dish comes with chips, slices of bread and a salad. The meat here is also Halal which is a plus! This restaurant is definitely a go-to if you’re in the mood for a large, hearty lunch or dinner.

As for you sweet tooth's out here… London has plenty of sugary stops to fulfil your sweet dreams! One of my favourites is called Snowflake Gelato. This is a franchise, so there are a few dotted around London. The one I love is right inside China Town, and it's a great place to take photos, even the food is photogenic! They have an amazing summer menu out at the moment which includes gelatos, waffles, crepes, and more. I managed to grab 4 desserts for around £30 which felt like a good deal! My favourite sweet dish to grab from there is definitely a strawberry and Nutella crepe! A plus for this restaurant is that all of their desserts are made from 100% organic Jersey milk, how cool is that?!

For those looking to get out of London and to travel the world (of food), there are so many cuisines that I adore and would highly recommend. For lovers of Korean food, I would suggest Hankki which is located, once again, in China Town (I can spot a theme here!). The menu is mouthwatering and it truly exceeded my expectations when I went. They just have so much to choose from as well as having their own signature cocktails and mocktails! A dish I would highly recommend is the charcoal chicken with dragon fruit sauce- super juicy and delectable and hard to resist the temptation of not getting more! You get so much for your money and everything is *chefs kiss*, you will not be disappointed! One last restaurant that really delighted my taste buds is Big Fernand, a French restaurant that combines fast food with french cuisine! From burgers to hotdogs- you can’t go wrong! It is also very family friendly and has great service, and the exterior is truly beautiful!
